Looking for Semi-Hardcore to Hardcore players.

Who are we? Everything! After you peel away all of the PvE content, the only thing left is PvP! We have a long history throughout many MMORPGs but it seems one of our primary homes is now here in the world of Atreia. Adapting to our new home, we plan to be heavy into both PvP and PvE content. Instances, Raids, and dungeons will become a norm for all members of KoA in hopes to equip our members with the best gear.

We plan to also balance out the Legion's environment. We seek a mature playerbase, and most activities don't have to be PG-13 either, but don't make comments absolutely retarded to the point that you deserve to get smacked by a throw-rug. Try to keep chat tasteful... If this doesn't sit well with you, then understand we are already prepared to accept that this might not be the Legion for everyone. Don't think we're a Legion of assholes either, in reality, though there are some of those, we want this to be a place where older/mature players can feel more at home. Some of the best PvP Legions are formed between players that know one another's strengths, weaknesses, and personalities. (It also helps to know what you're doing of course)

You within the Legion.
This is a game, and we want to keep it that way. We don't encourage players to treat this as a part of their life, nor will anyone force you to be on when real life comes first, rather we want you to have the freedom to prioritize real life when needed and not make this a second job you're paying for. Don't let us being a PvP Legion discourage you from joining however, we will do PvE but major PvP (GvG) is an absolute. Attending Raids and other PvE events within the guild is highly suggested, unless real life is calling, try not to make it a habit to avoid attending. Besides, if you don't attend, you're only hurting the Legion and yourself.

Location.
North America, [West] Ariel Server Just as long as you contribute to the legion and do not miss major Legion events, you will be accepted.

History.
KoA originated from Ragnarok Online, and after 4 years of terror, we spread to many MMORPGs gaining experience and members. We most recently were a PvE Guild on Requiem, and were one of the top guilds; our influence can still be seen, former Knights are part of one of the top guilds in the game. Our members also have roots in many games such as Guild Wars, Warhammer Online and WoW. This collective EXP only strengthens our forces and our command in PvP. Even now, while we are here on Aion, Knights are fighting on distant MMOs.

Due to the limitations on legion name length, we will be known as "Apocalypse."

Strengths.

*Encouragement: We have a wide array of players ranging from those who have a moderate amount of PvP experience, to Hardcore, Rock-solid PvP Gods. No matter the experience, all of our members are pushed to be the best they can be, given tips, and we spar with one another on a constant basis.

*Persistence: We don't give up, and we instill on others to never give up or give in. Defeat is not an option if you can help it.

*Numbers: To have a hundred people fighting is one thing, but when all one hundred are hardened PvPers vicory is more attainable than most others.

*Elitist: Initially, KoA will be open for all to join, but as we fill up, we will weed out all: Rage Quitters, Warriors (Warrior Vision is a No No), Kings-of-the-hill, Whiners, Emos and other hinderences.

*Pride and Honor: We all fight for the glory of KoA and to attain victory is the sweetest reward for our hard work. You can feel no better pride than to fly under the banner of KoA and work together with your fellow comrades to make this Legion the best. We believe in "Death before Dishonor" and brotherhood.

*Leadership: No elected leader or official of the Legion will ever give up or give in, no matter what, we must fight and win! If we lose, it will always be by a narrow margin.

*NO DRAMA: Because of the above listed strengths, drama is kept at the minimum if not non-existent. No drama means everyone enjoys themselves more and enjoy playing more.

Rankings

1. Seraph
2. Ark, Elite Holy Guard (PvP)
3. Domini, Holy Guard (PvP)
4. Crusader
5. Knight
6. Orifiel

(It's crude, but it works. This is a listing of each rank.)
______________________________________________________________________

The Seraph is the leader of the legion, in other words, me.

Arks are the Senior Officers of the legion. Their duties range to most areas of the legion. They are my direct overseers of the legion, and have the most pull in decision making. Arks must be consulted before I reward anyone an officer rank.

Dominis are the Junior Officers of the legion. Their duties are limited because they're more of a potential Ark. They're only allowed to recruit, boot, and issue warnings, and only after consulting other members first.

Both Arks and Dominis are allowed access to the guild vault, however Dominis need permission from either the Seraph or an Ark. Anyone however, accessing the vault, must document it in details in this thread Vault Access logbook

The Elite Holy Guard is the PvP equivalent to an Ark. They only have the power of a Domini within the legion, but they have the most say so in all PvP oriented aspects of the legion. Later on, I will award our best with their own sect when I and the Arks feel they are deserving and ready. They get first priority on loot. They can select their members for their sect once they are awarded one. They can select anyone within the legion, but only other Elite guardsmen willing to do so. Those who agree to are still eligible for their own sect in the future.

The Holy Guard Are simply our best PvPers and get more pull in PvP and get 2nd priority on loot.

Crusaders are experienced, established, and trusted parts of the legion. Those who attain this rank are on to the path to becoming an one of two officer types.

Knights are regular, full fledged members of the legion. They are given rank once they are established and experienced enough.

Orifiels are newcomers/newbies to the legion. They have little say in the legion until they have proved their worth and proved that they are experienced and right for our legion.

A Sect is a PvP group, or "platoon."
